-Got our cat back with a gashing cut on his foot with no explanation
It is important to stay skeptical of the competency of these care providers. It is also unfortunate that sometimes you get in a bind and don't have many other choices. It is my hope that a better and MORE AFFORDABLE 24 hour place opens up in the area.
-Did not give clear answers to questions I asked repeatedly. For example, when asking about diet, I never even got a name of a food. The reply was "oh yeah there are some prescription foods you can get for him. " When I asked further, I got no real information, just a blanket statement followed by a subject change. I went to a different place and walked out with prescription food specifically for his condition after a 10 minute consultation.
Reasons for one star:
Highly recommended! The staff was friendly and informative. The vet was clear, honest and upfront. They took good care of our pet. Building was clean and pretty.
-Tried to pressure us into getting a surgery for our cat that, after consulting our regular vet and two other vets, was not necessary.
Redeeming qualities:
Thank You to all of the staff working there and Dr. Delgado as well.
-Cut our cat's claws scarily short and close to the quick, he was limping and didn't want his paws touched :/ (also how were his paws at all related to the urinary issue he had?)
-Open 24 hours. Thankful that they could take our cat before something happened to him.
I wasn't sure about taking my dog because of the low stars, but it was the only place open. I must say she is feeling better & we received great care. Thanks BluePearl Veterinary Staff!
Also Dr. Delgado was awesome. He took his time to talk to us and answered all of our questions about our cat's illness and after care. We are very pleased with him.
I don't understand what this Pet Hospital only got 2.5 stars because we took our cat in for a emergency check up yesterday and today and the service was wonderful and the staffs are very nice.

Blue Pearl staff were wonderful with my dog. They gave him quality care in a clean, neat environment. They have answered all my questions and have continue to follow up with me. Prices are a little high, but we did get treated on Sunday.
-After consulting these three other veterinarians that I talked to, the treatment provided here seemed frivolous and careless overall.
-Another hit on the prices. There was an already high quote to start that they kept piling charges on to without much explanation.
She took very good care of our cat during the visit and showed us what we need to know about our cat. She is a very sweet person!!
