My only regret was I didn't get this officers name...but as a new resident to the area, I am extremely pleased with the response, courtesy and overall experience I had with this officer from the Auburn Hills Police Dept. The community is definitely in great hands with fine serviceman such as this officer, and I wanted to extend a sincere thank you and much gratitude for your actions that day!
I would like to say that the Auburn Hills Police Department is most amazing and it makes me glad to know considering I work here and plan to move to the city in less than four months. I had locked my keys in my little ole Neon and the officer was to my office in less than 15 minutes. Amazing! She was kind, friendly, and even allowed me to assist!
Was ASSURED multiple times I would not be charged for towing after an accident by officer Hillacher (sorry if I misspelled the name, it wasn’t on report) because THEY didn’t want to wait for AAA that I pay for, SPECIFICALLY for emergency situations. “This is how it works after an accident, you will get no bill they just have to get your car out of here as fast as possible.” She said exactly. I told her “DO NOT LET THEM HOOK UP if I will have to pay money” and she assured me not to worry that it was ‘protocol’ and I wouldn’t be charged a cent. Fast forward to the day after Christmas and the tow yard wants $300 dollars for a towing fee (yes just towing, from Auburn Hills, to the same city, Auburn Hills. Freaking ridiculous). Hopefully AAA will reimburse me because I already pay for monthly towing on top of this 300 dollar bill, but in the mean time DO NOT LISTEN TO OFFICERS ADVICE WHEN IT COMES TO TOWING! Merry freaking Christmas to me, here’s a $300 dollar bill and a totaled car.
About a month or so ago I ran out of gas trying to get to Costco. I was about a half mile away and had just gotten off the phone with roadside assistance, when an officer stopped by to check on the situation. He was extremely polite and went above and beyond to assist me in getting the situation resolved. He was nice enough to drive me to Costco, where they had a gas can which I was able to fill and fuel up my vehicle enough to make it out to the same station a few minutes later. Throughout the whole ordeal, I can't stress enough how friendly, polite, and professional the officer was.
Amazing service from one who lives to serve her community.
Special Thank you to Officer I Hodges at the Great Lakes Crossing for helping retrieving my Sons Stolen Iphone from the employee at the new arcade opened up there, Thank you for your service and your Kindness,God Keep you all Safe
I would like to say the decline in assistance of police officers helping the common man has been quite upsetting, although my bias could result from growing up in a town of four hundred. :)
Great officers, very respectful, very sharp!
Thank you so much, Auburn Hills Police! No one ever helps keys locked in a car anymore! Amazing!
