It's always fun to come to On the Border when everything else is closed. Food is okay, but the staff is awesome. It's always really nice when you can come right before close and they still welcome you with open arms and still offer you the same service they would if they had just opened. They have excellent management and it's always in a fun area.
We were noticed immediately upon walking in and sat at a table quickly even though it was extremely busy. Someone took our drink order and let us know that our waiter would be around in a minute or two. Just a few moments later our waiter arrived who was also training another waitress. Both were nice and the waiter even suggested his favorite drinks and foods to our party. Our orders came out quickly again even with the dinner rush and everything was great! Of the surrounding chain restaurants this is the one I would recommend to anyone looking for a meal after shopping all day.

Our lunch stop was amazing! We were seated immediately and our waitress (shannon) was very friendly, attentive, and fast, never had to ask for anything because she brought it to us before we ever needed to ask. Best waitress we've ever had at any restaurant. Fajitas were delicious, will get them next time too!

The food has always been pretty good here. The service, however, varies wildly. They have some of the most efficient and upbeat servers I have ever seen (I believe they are Jeff and Adam) while some of the others are downright inattentive. My wife and I have sat there for 10 minutes waiting to just have our drink order - not knowing who our server is, only to find out they were standing right by us the whole time. We try to get our favorite servers but that is hard sometimes.
